FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What do I need to bring?

A.: Sunscreen. A light jacket, it can be surprising cool as we are running around at 30 mph especially first thing in the morning. I have a cooler full of ice with plenty of waters to drink but if you want anything else to drink you can bring it and put it in my cooler. You may also want to bring snack or sandwich for lunch especially on 3/4 or full day charters.

Q: do I need a fishing license?

A: No the boat carries a fishing license for everybody aboard.

Q: Are there any other charges?

A: No the price of the charter includes all bait and tackle you will need for the trip.

Q: Can I bring my own tackle?

A: I do provide all the tackle we will need for the day all in good condition and selected specifically for the intended situation, but you are welcome to bring your favorite rod or tackle if you so desire.

Q: What if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather is bad we will reschedule for another day or cancel if necessary. I don’t want to be out there in bad weather either! I do suggest that if you are booking ahead that you arrange it earlier in your visit that way if there are weather issues we can reschedule as necessary.

Q: How can I pay?

A: I accept all major credit cards including Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. Of course cash is king and I do accept it with 2 forms of ID.

Q: How do I reserve my day?

A: Just call and I will be happy to arrange the charter that best suites your desires. I normally take a credit card number over the phone to reserve your day. I do not charge the card unless you don’t show up at the time of the charter. If you would rather you can send me a check for 20% of the charter cost; I will hold the reservation for a week while I wait.

Q: How many people can you take?

A: I can carry up to three guests but 2 is comfortable and three is a crowd.
